The Challenge
A new business model was being introduced within the itravel2000 company. With the rise of new travellers stemming from younger ages, itravel wanted to enter that market segment and find out more about their behaviours and motivation factors. The new business model had a very innovative social strategy which they wanted to test out in the industry.
The Process
With the new strategy in place, we needed to provide a quick turn-around to produce the website that incorporates the key initiatives. Working on a lean and agile process we developed an MVP (minimum viable produt) site in a two week time frame. The goal was to test out the hypothesises of the strategy and analyze the traction and engagement of the website.
The Results
To motivate the user engagement of the website an incentive program was introduced. The website also featured social functionality to reach out to the platforms that the market segment utilized. More media and content that relates to the user was used to provide quality information. A recruitment section was also integrated into the site to acquire writers and bloggers to generate more content targeted to the market segment.
